BROOKS Sho-Rate™ Low-Flow Indicators 1350E/1355E

The Sho-Rate™ 1350 and 1355 Series of low flow indicators provides a cost-effective means of flow indication for both 5% (Model 1355) and 10% (Model 1350) accuracy requirements. Available options include the Standard or NRS™ integral needle control valves, as well as flow controllers on the inlet or outlet of single tube meters. Multi-tube configurations with or without needle control valves, with individual connections or with manifolding of the inlet or outlet ports are also available.

• Tubes sealed on compression gasket by threaded seal spindle
• Tubes removable without disconnecting instrument
• Integral float stops prevent loss of float during tube removal

These Sho-Rate flowmeters are Variable Area, Glass Tube, flow rate indicating meters for both gas and liquid service. The basic elements are a tapered glass metering tube and a metering float. Features include quick and simple removal or installation of the tube and float while the meter remains in the process piping.

• Scales
1350 Series: Length 65mm, nominal. Graduations: 0-65mm, or 0-100 linear
reference scale with air or water calibration table.
1355 Series: Length: 150mm, nominal. Graduations: 0-150mm, or 0-100 linear reference scale with air or water calibration table.
Optional: for either 65 mm or 150 mm direct reading scale, ceramic ink fused on glass tube or metal scale plate mounted beside tube.
• Connections
- Standard: Horizontal female 1/8" NPT threaded adapters with locknuts for front of panel mounting.
- Multi-tube meters: Individual 1/8" NPT horizontal inlet and outlet; Manifold connection 1/8" NPT on inlet with individual outlet or manifold outlet with individual inlet connections.

• End fittings: Chrome plated brass, black anodized aluminum, 316 SS
• Side Plates: Black anodized aluminum, 316 SS
• Window: Clear polycarbonate; Back Window: Milk white polycarbonate
• O-rings: Buna-N (Brass and aluminum meters), Viton-A (316 SS meters), Teflon (not available with needle valves), EPM, Kalrez?

OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT
• Standard integral flow control valve on inlet or outlet.
Cannot be installed on manifolded fittings.
• NRS integral flow control valve on inlet or outlet. These valves are particularly suitable for precise control requirements, and are recommended for flow rates below 500 sccm of Air (@STP) or 10 cc/min
water. Cannot be installed on manifolded fittings.
• Flush mounting bezels in aluminum (single tube) or plastic (multi-tube).
• Threaded adapters and locknuts for front of panel mounting (standard with 1/8" NPT).
• Multi-tube construction up to 6 tubes
• 1/8" and 1/4" compression fittings
• 1/4" female NPT connections
• 1/4" ID serrated hose connections
• Base plates, with or without level
