W-K-M DynaSeal? Trunnion Ball Valve 370CT

The general purpose trunnion ball valve for the petroleum and chemical process industries. Its strong suit is low torque, block and bleed service. W-K-M DynaSeal? 370CT ball valves satisfy a wide range of ANSI and API 6D applications. Available in carbon steel and stainless steel with various trims, they may be specified in sizes from 4" to 14" and pressure classes of 150 and 300.

Engineered for heavy duty, maintenance-free performance, The DynaSeal 370CT is commonly selected for a number of demanding applications.

Features/Benefits:
Deep pocketed seats
Aseat pocket encapsulates the three-piece seat assembly which consists of an outer metal seat ring with a TFE insert. An O-ring energizes the seat face against the ball to ensure ball/seat contact at all pressures.
Positively retained stem
The stem is held positively in place by means of a steel retention pin which cannot be removed without disassembling the valve.
Trunnion supported ball allows low torque operation
Trunnion ball valves allow easy on-off operation, even at high pressures, since the ball turns on carefully aligned bearings. The ball is fixed in position, but free to turn. Torque is so low that wrench operation of valves through 6" bore size is practical. When power actuation is desired, much smaller actuators are needed.
Easy to maintain
The valve can be completely disassembled in the field for replacement of seats or for a complete overhaul. Seats can be replaced quickly without special tools.
Actuation-friendly
A variety of actuator types can be easily installed including pneumatic, hydraulic, diaphragm, vane, electro-mechanical and electro-hydraulic. IndMac Ltd. can provide a total package of valves and actuators to meet your needs.
Positive double block and bleed operation
The pressure-actuated seats and bleed fittings allow double block and bleed operation. When used for block and bleed, this feature permits the valve to take the place of two valves. It also allows the operator to check up and downstream sealing by installing pressure-releasing tool to bleed body pressure.
Fire tested for safety
All DynaSeal 370CT valves are qualified under API standard 6FA. The pocketed seat contributes to its unusually good fire test characteristics. Should the soft seats be destroyed by fire, the metal shoulder acts as a secondary metal-to-metal seal until maintenance can be performed.
